The mysteries of RSS Feeds
Sep. 20th, 2004 12:18 pmI know how to add an RSS feed that has already been created, but not how to create one. Apparently the Powells Review-a-Day site will send out their reviews once a day by e-mail, but I'd love to read it as a sydicated feed. I don't know how to create RSS feeds, and don't even know if it is it possible in this case to do so. Is it?

LiveJournal can handle most type of feeds (RSS 1.0, 2.0, and Atom), so as long as it validates, it should work. If the site is using any of the popular blogging softwares such as Movable Type, then there should be a feed available. Otherwise, you'd have to make one from scratch. That, I'm afraid, I can't help with, as I don't know XML at all.
