Introductions again

Every time my friends list tops another hundred I ask again for another quickie round of introductions. Now that there are more than three four five hundred of you (eek) reading this journal (aside from the lurkers), tell me, please, if you are so inclined: how did you find my journal? Why do you keep reading? (No need to feel obligated if you've answered this before, of course. In fact, no obligation in general. But I am nosily curious, I'll admit.) Thanks.

Found you through a friend's journal...and started reading. I fell in love with Rennaissance jewelry because of you years ago when I picked up EHR from the library, cried the last three chapters of Wild Swans and keep wondering when the next one will come out!

yeah. but I read now because you always write clearly, letting me see inside your life. My friends who are professional writers all have their blogs in diffrent styles and it is an interesting comparison.

Are you doing a book signing around town anytime soon? I would like to meet you now that I live in the cities...

No book signing planned soon, no, since my books have been out for quite awhile. I will be at the Arcana conference on this coming Friday night--I'll be interviewing Tim Powers, at the opening ceremonies, I think. I hope to show up this coming Thursday (September 30) at Tim Powers' book signing at Dreamhaven books, but I know I am going to be late. The signing starts at 6:00 pm, but I have a school conference for one of my daughters starting at 5:55 p.m., so I plan to drive like a bat out of hell when it is over to get to Dreamhaven to see Tim. Maybe I'll see you at one or the other events? If so, please introduce yourself. (Icon shows what I look like).
