My dad's in the hospital

I just talked to my mom; my dad went to the hospital last night with pancreatitis. He'll be in the hospital for a few days; right now he is tube-fed until they get his system cleaned out and calmed down. He was on morphine but I think from what Mom said he's feeling better--I don't know if she meant that the morphine is working, or he has stopped it entirely. They don't know the cause, but he is getting good care. We'll see what happens when they get back test results tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear that your dad is sick. Hospitals are not a fun place to be. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.
