Bush is attempting to gut the Constitution he took an oath to defend.

What is it going to take to stop this man? I believe that Arlen Specter is planning on holding hearings on the NSA signing statements issue. Is there anyone else who is going to show some guts and stand up to stop this dictatorial power grab? When/how can the Supreme Court step in to restore the balance of power? Is the damage to our system of government reversable?

WHY WILL NOBODY STOP HIM? Is it too already late? Help!

Well, regardless of whether you think the problem is the man, the Republican party, representative democracy, or the stars not being in the right alignment, George Bush still will be out of office in less than three years, regardless of how many Democrats are elected in the interim.

Of course, there is an argument that the Democrats taking over the House this fall might well be the result of a Darth Rovian plan to start the Clone Wa -- I mean, to give the Republicans somebody to blame in advance of the 2008 election . . .
