I imagine it's a lesson in letting go, to see your child off doing things in a place that you aren't. But she looks like she's making great use of every penny that it cost to send her (and everyone else). I'm so glad she got to go.

Our kids both went to the Montreal space camp. They loved the missions and training, but the social parts weren't great - they were among the oldest attending the camp. I think it's wonderful that Delia is there when she is so young.

I also envy you getting this ongoing evidence that she's there and safe and having adventures.

Great use of the tech, too -- digital cameras and the web, so parents can kinda watch what's happening from home. And the kid's friends, or whoever.
