Now I've got a little fever. Nothing serious, just enough to make me uncomfortable. And I'm not sure if it's my imagination, or if my belly really has swollen up. DId it look like that before, like I'm a few months pregnant?

They recommended walking, so Rob went out with me this afternoon for a shuffle around the block.

This feels so strange. Almost unnerving. Last week I was biking fifty miles a week. Now I can barely make it around the block.

Still on pain meds. I need 'em.

I'm not used to being this much slowed down. It's freaking weird.

Blargh.

Spent the day watching movies. Watched Saved! and High School Musical, neither of which I've seen before. Am about to put in 13 Going on 30. I wish I had a copy of Emma. I'd like to watch that.

Peg, you must rest, rest, rest. It takes time. If the fever gets very high at all, call the doctor. Do a search on postoperative fatigue, and you'll see it can last a good bit longer than the (quite predictable) pain from the procedure. This was a major surgery, and it was only two days ago, and you MUST let things run their course.

Take it from mom.
