Random pleasantness

pegkerrIt is Friday, which means there are bagels in the kitchen at work.
The Ministry of Magic has a new song on their website. ("Here in your Car")
The weather outside is beautiful. Sunshine and picture-perfect fluffy clouds.
I am going to go out for lunch today. Given the way we have been clamping down on spending, this feels incredibly decadent.
Delia passed her pre-test and will be taking her black stripe belt test tomorrow. I talked with her some more, asking her whether maybe she just needed a break, and she said that was possible: when she was away from karate before she missed it. So the way we will leave it is that I will resume lessons in July, and she will re-evaluate how she feels when the school year begins.
Fiona returns home tomorrow from a week-long servant trip with our old church that took her to Washington D.C. It will be lovely to see her again.
This is the last day of the work week, and we are about to leave tomorrow for a week-long family reunion. I REALLY need to get away and am quite looking forward to it.

Whatever your route, remember to honk the horn frequently and yell ROAD TRIP!!! at the top of your lungs. All of you. I've never met Delia, but looking at her pictures, I get the impression she, for one, will be happy to oblige. And I'd love to imagine you seconding the motion!
