My appointment

I had my appointment this afternoon. The rapid test was negative for strep, so no antibiotics for me. It's simply a nasty, nasty virus, and I just have to wait it out. Rest, fluids, salt water gargle, etc. She told me I shouldn't expect to go back to work until next week. "Wear fuzzy slippers and have your family wait on you hand and foot," she told me.

Since I seem to be getting sick, too, can I blame you? Say you gave it to me via a computer virus? :P Hope you feel better soon. And, y'know, I did suggest that maybe you could take a few days off and treat yourself, but I didn't mean you had to be sick for it to happen. Clearly, though, your body is telling you what you already knew: you need the rest. Hope the recovery isn't too miserable. *offers lemon tea with honey*
