Lunch today
Jan. 8th, 2009 09:22 amIt's been awhile, so I'm posting a picture of my lunch, even though this one isn't particularly pretty or anything. So I'm not a domestic goddess every day.

Spinach salad with clementine, balsamic vinagrette in the small container, with pecans and dried cranberries for topping the salad, plain yogurt mixed with apple butter. And you can't quite tell, but there's chicken breast buried under all that brown rice. The sauce is a mixture of peanut butter, salsa, and lime juice.

Knee is better today . . . sort of
Jan. 8th, 2009 10:16 pmThe good news is that I'm walking without the cane now, mostly without pain.
The bad news is that I'm suspecting now it's more likely a problem with a ligament rather than the hamstring. It's on the side of the knee rather than the back. And I know ligaments take longer to heal.
I figure I'll wait until Monday, no exercise, and then see how it feels when bent. If I still get the same pain, I'll call the doctor then.
